- Epiphytic or epilithic, climbing with aerial roots. Stems flat or with 3-8
ribs, spiny. Flowers nocturnal. Flower white, funnelform. Ovary and
receptacle with bristles.
- Amazone forest in Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil.
