Type: Schlumbergera epiphylloides Lem nom. illeg. (= Schlumbergera russelliana)

- Growing on trees or rocks. Stems flat or globose to cylindric. New stems and flower appearing on the top of the stems. Spines bristle-like or lacking Flowers zygomorphic to nearly actinomorphic, lilac to white. Fruit cylindric or angled. Seed brown to black.
