- Upright bush, to more than 1 m diameter. Main stem woody. Stems cylindric, not club-shaped, to 3 cm long, light green. Flower dark yellow to red, 1,2 cm long. Petals rounded. Inner petals not adpressed against the anthers. Fruit dark purple-red, globose.
