- Bushy, branched, with aerial roots. Stems cylindric, stiff, green. Areoles 3 4 mm apart. Spines 8-10, stiff, yellowish, 3-4 mm long. Flower lateral, white, 2 cm long, 1.5 cm diameter. Filaments white. Ovary round, with some scales. Fruit dark red, 5-6 mm diameter. Seed spindle-shaped, brown, 1-1.2 mm long.
