- Hanging bushes, stems three- to four-angled or flat and lanceolate, up to 30 cm long, 2 cm broad, crenate. Areoles with tiny scales, without felt or spines. Flower lateral, 1.6-2 cm long, scented, funnelformed, outside green, inside white. Nectar chamber 1 mm long. Receptacle 1 mm long. Petals linear, 1.2-1.4 cm long, 3 mm broad. Filaments white. Style yellowish. Ovary 4 mm long and broad, five- to six-angled, pale green, scales 1-2 mm long. Fruit five-angled, later ellipsoid, black-violet. Seed 1.2 mm, shiny red-brown.
