- Base of primary stems cylindric, 65 cm long, 0.6-1 cm diameter, with 3 rows of areoles, without spines. Apical flattened for 30-40 cm. Secundary stems with rounded base which is 1-20 cm long and 2-4 mm diameter, apical part flat, 15-30 cm long, 2.5-5.5 cm broad, thin. Areoles 1.5 cm apart, without spines. Lobes 2 mm protruding. Flower 1.9-2.4cm long, 1.8-2.3 cm diameter. Ovary 4 mm diameter. Receptacle 1.2 cm long, 3-4 mm diameter, lower part bronze-green, with podaria, upper part yellow-white. Petals 1.1 cm long, pink cream, inner petals cream. Filaments cream, anthers yellow. Pistil white. Fruit 0.8-1.1 cm diameter, shiny magenta pink, translucent, pulpa pink-white, containing 4-8 seeds. Seed 1.75 2x1x0.75-1 mm, shiny brown-black, hilum brown.
