- Stems long and thin, terete, vaguely ribbed or three angled, ±4-5 mm diameter. Areoles small, with little felt, wide apart. Spines ±5 on the base of the stems, ±3 mm long, cream to brown yellow. Flower 3-5 cm long, funnelform, pink. Receptacle 2.5-4 cm long, green-yellow to purple-red, lower areoles areoles with spines and wool. Outer petals yellowish pink, inner petals pinkish white. Filaments white, anthers pael yellow. Style cream, stigmas cream to pinkish. Fruit 2.5 cm long, 2.2 cm diameter. Seed 1.8x2x1.5 mm, black.
