- Segments 15-25 cm broad, light green, deeply lobed, with thick mid-vein, tip round. Flower to 30 cm long, 12.5 cm diameter, white. Style pinkish white. Fruit red. Pulpa red.

- Nicaragua; Costa Rica: La Hondura (T), Alajuela, San José; Panama: Bocas del Toro, Cerro Trinidad (E. gigas); Honduras. Atlantic rainforest, up to 1100 m.
