- Plant 2-3 m long. Stems thin, to 9 cm broad, light green. Flower not scented, 17-23 cm long, 10-15 cm diameter. Ovary green, somewhat angled. Receptacle 11-13 cm long, somewhat angled, greenish, with some narrow red pointed scales. Outer petals narrow, greenish pink. Inner petals narrow, 5 cm long, white. Filaments in one row, white. Style carmine, lower part yellowish, upper part pink, stigmas yellow. Ovary green, somewhat angled. Fruit oblong, red, somewhat angled, with some scales. Seed reniform, shiny black.
