- Green, three-angled, edges wavy, 2-3 cm diameter. Areoles 3 cm apart, with felt. Spines 1-2, stiff, strongly thickened at the base. Flower funnelform, 28 cm long, 17 cm diameter, white, lower part pink. Outer petals narrow, greenish. Filaments numerous, white, lower part pink. Style yellow. Stigma lobes (not always) dissected. Fruit 6 7 cm long, purple, splitting open when ripe.Pulpa white.
