- Light green, glaucous, later dark bluegreen. Stems sharp three-angled. Edges wavy, brown, hornlike. Areoles 2-4 cm apart. Spines 5-8, needle-like, 0,5-1,2 cm long. Flower 25-30 cm long, 20-25 cm diameter, white. Outer petals smal, acute, greenish or purplish. Scales with purple edges. Inner petals lanceolate, acute, white. Stigma lobes not dissected, green. Fruit smaller than that of Hylocereus undatus.
- Mexico: Colima, Jalisco, Mexico, Nayarit.
