- Strongly branched, often creeping. Stems up to 1.5 cm diameter. Ribs ±10,
flat. Areoles 1.5 cm apart. Spines numerous, needle like, up to 1 cm long,
brownish yellow. Flower 15 cm long, 15 cm diameter, white, strongly scented. Receptacle with spines. Outer petals brownish to greensih white, narrow, outwardly curved. Style greenish, upper part
cream. Fruit 7 cm long, 3-5 cm diameter, red.
- Mexico: Mazatlán (T), Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Colima, Sinaloa, up to 500.
