- Up to 1.2 m long or longer. Segments in groups od 2-6, 15-100 cm or longer, 5-7 mm diameter, whith rugose light green to yellow-green surface. Segments three- to five-angled, with podaria that form 15-25 mm long facets. Areoles with some wool, when flowering somewhat sunken. Spines up to 3, 0.5-2 mm long. Flower lateral, protruding through epidermis, 6-8 mm long, 7-9 mm broad, pink-cream. Stamens and pistil cream. Fruit sunken in epidermis until ripe, 5 mm long and broad, whitish tot dark pink on the tip, translucent. Seed black.
