- Stems 8-10 cm long, 4-6 mm diameter, dark green. Ribs 6-10, areoles close together, with little felt, 15-20 glassy hairs, 3-4 mm long. Flower 6-8 mm long, 5 mm diameter. Ovary round, green, with 2-3 areoles with hairs. Fruit white, somewhat translucent, 6 mm diameter, globose. Neotene form.

- Coastal forests of Madagascar, epiphytic and epilitic, up to 1500 m.
