- Stems up to 2 m long, flat, oblong to elliptical, 6-16 cm long, weakly undulating crenated, green to reddish. Areoles 1-3 cm apart, small. Flowers smaller, ±8 mm diameter, yellowish, single on each areole. Anthers white. Fruit 5 mm diameter, globose, white.
