- Pendant, 1-1.5 m long, dark green, donkergroen, red around the areoles. Primary segments 8-22 mm long, 3 mm diameter, secundary segments 8-22 cm long, 3 mm diameter. Areoles small, sometimes with 1 bristly spine. Flower larger, yellowish, terminal. Ovary green, 2 mm long. Fruit white, globose, 5-6 mm diameter.
- Brazil: Ilha Grande. Epiphytic and epilithic. Flowering period June to October.
